Joyce — Crowe

STEUBENVILLE – Amy Marie Joyce and Richard H. Crowe Jr. were united in marriage on June 14 during at 1:30 p.m. ceremony at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Steubenville. The Rev. Thomas Nau officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dana Joyce and Carol Joyce of Steubenville. The groom is the son of Richard H. Crowe Sr. and Annette Crowe of Wintersville.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a strapless, sweetheart neckline gown featuring a dropped waistline, Swarovski crystal embellishments and full ballgown skirt with ruffles. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses accented with chrystals and baby’s breath.

Angela Lucci of Steubenville, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Cummings of Toronto; Danielle Pizzoferrato of Willoughby; Jenna Joyce of Steubenville, sister-in-law of the bride; Allie Dellatorre of Wintersville; Mandy Almonte of Wintersville; and Kimberly Cherepko of Bloomingdale.

Rob Crowe of Brilliant, cousin of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Brian and Jeff Joyce of Steubenville, brothers of the bride; Rob Ferguson of Wintersville; Dom DeCarlo of Belle Vernon, Pa.; Jim Daily of Wintersville; and Kenny Rupert of Wintersville.

Sienna Lucci of Wadsworth, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl. Gavin Lucci of Wadworth, cousin of the bride, and Cooper Crowe of Brilliant, cousin of the groom, were the ringbearers.

A reception was held in Oglebay’s Park’s Glessner Ballroom.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a 2010 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is attending Franciscan University of Steubenville working toward a master’s degree in education administration. She is employed at Pulgiese West Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Indian Creek High School and a 2009 graduate of Bethany College with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. He is attending Franciscan University working toward a master’s degree in special education. He is employed as a special education teacher at the School of Bright Promise.

The couple live in Steubenville.
