Happ — Lewis
TORONTO – St. Francis Church in Toronto was the setting for the May 17 wedding that united Rachel Happ and Shane Lewis in marriage. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Thomas Vennitti.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Cathy Happ of Richmond.
The groom is the son of Steve and Mary Lynn Lewis of Toronto.
Kirsten Teramana of Wintersville served as the maid of honor. Jennifer Happ of Richmond; Christina Happ of Pasadena, Calif.; Morgan Starr of Irondale; Sara Ashmead of Steubenville; Mary Vaughn of Gettysburg, Pa.; and Emma Parsons of Santa Maria, Calif., served as bridesmaids.
Craig Pearson of Corapolis, Pa., served as the best man. Groomsmen were Ricky Happ of Richmond; Patrick Maple of Toronto; Justin Motto of Steubenville; Matthew Hamilton of Lancaster, Pa.; Patrick Dougherty of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Justin Griffith of Toronto.
Brooke Scharfenberg of Richmond, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Mason and Jackson Scharfenberg of Richmond, nephews of the bride, and Steven Jay Starr of Irondale, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearers.
A reception was held at the Countryside in Richmond, and the newlyweds honeymooned in Ventura, Calif.
Both are graduates of Catholic Central High School and Franciscan University of Steubenville.
The bride is pursing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. The groom is employed by the city of Toronto.
They reside in Toronto.
