Hosterman — Emley
WINTERSVILLE – Two Ridges Presbyterian Church was the setting for the June 7 wedding that united Katie Hosterman and Matthew Emley in marriage. The 3:30 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by the Rev. Bill Lawrence and the Rev. Gregory Emley.
Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her parents, Loren and Tami Hosterman of Wintersville, the bride chose a ruched lace gown with a Swarovski crystal embellished belt, finished with a corset back closure. She carried a bouquet of 25 white roses.
The groom is the son of Jerome and Martha Emley of Bloomingdale.
Erin Hosterman of Knoxville served as her sister’s maid of honor, while Abigail Saffell served as her aunt’s junior bridesmaid. Rachel Pompa, Allison Eastham, Erica McClure, Natalie DiBenedetto, Amanda Richardson and Hannah Emley served as bridesmaids, and Anna DiBenedetto was the flower girl.
Timothy Ohalek of Wintersville served as the best man. David Emley, Justen Humphreys, Eric Hilty, Adam Richardson, Jacob McGinnis and Brian Emley were groomsmen, while Connor Richardson served as his uncle’s ring bearer.
After a reception at Undo’s in Weirton, the newlyweds took a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas.
The bride is a graduate of Indian Creek High School and Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in middle childhood education and is employed as a substitute teacher.
The groom is a graduate of Indian Creek High School and Eastern Gateway Community College with an associate degree in information technology and is employed by OME-RESA.
They reside in Wintersville.
