Logsdon — Thorne
STEUBENVILLE – Holy Family Church in Steubenville was the setting for the Oct. 11, 2014, wedding that united Brandy Logsdon and Daniel Thorne Jr. in marriage. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by Monsignor Gerald Calovini.
Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her mother, Susan Logsdon of Wintersville, the bride chose a satin ball gown with a beaded bodice adorned with crystals and pearls. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses, rhinestone brooches, and blue bom orchids tied with a satin ribbon.
The groom is the son of Sharon and Daniel Thorne, Sr. of Steubenville.
Maureen Dzomba of Steubenville served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sharena Thorne of Steubenville, sister of the groom; Andrea Ray of Wintersville, cousin of the bride; Amanda Speece of Mingo Junction, cousin of the bride; and Audrey Sweeney of Toledo.
Jayme Kaine of Oklahoma City, Okla., was the best man. Ushers were Joseph Scugoza of Steubenville, James Speece of Mingo Junction, Paul Ray of Wintersville and Ali Nour of Toledo.
Baylee Brown of Wintersville, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
Marek Speece of Mingo Junction and Adam and Alex Ray of Wintersville, cousins of the bride, were the ring bearers.
After a reception at Undo’s of Weirton, the newlyweds honeymooned in Las Vegas.
The bride is a graduate of Catholic Central High School, Franciscan University of Steubenville and the University of Toledo College of Law with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence and is employed by the Stark County Public Defender’s Office.
The groom is a graduate of Steubenville High School and is employed by Phoenix Scrap Metal.
They reside in Wintersville.
