Laman — Scalley
WINTERSVILLE – Jessica Laman of Wintersville and Michael Scalley of Toronto were united in marriage on June 7 at Blessed Sacrament Church in Wintersville. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Monsignor Kurt Kemo.
The bride is the daughter of Edward and Teresa Laman of Wintersville. She was escorted to the altar by her father and wore a white, organza gown with a sweetheart neckline and accented with a crystal, beaded belt.
The groom is the son of William Scalley and Delores Mosti of Toronto.
Erika Weiss and Morgan Starr served as the maid and matron of honor. Katie DiPiero, Jenna Scalley, Allie Shorac, Becca Shorac, Colby Brosky and Meghan Walsh served as bridesmaids.
Greg Scalley, brother of the groom, served as best man. Adam Starr, David Haught, Kris Brown, Jeremiah Hinerman, Jessy Reynolds, Ryan Marker and Gene McLain served as groomsmen.
Emma Skinner, niece of the groom, served as the flower girl, and Steven Jay Starr served as the ring bearer.
A reception was held at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville, and the newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Aruba.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Catholic Central High School and 2012 graduate of Ohio State University. She is employed with the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Edison High School. He is employed with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department and is an owner of Gem City Security Inc. in Toronto.
They live in Columbus.
