Sagrilla — Schumann
NORFOLK, Va. – Ghent United Methodist Church in Norfolk was the setting for the Jan. 10 wedding that united Gina Sagrilla, formerly of Irondale, and Jon Schumann of Norfolk in marriage.
Dr. Sandi Plasters officiated for the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Cindy Sagrilla of Irondale.
The groom is the son of Mike and Ronette Schumann of Richmond, Ky.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and wore a lace fit and flare gown with an illusion neckline.
Jacquelyn Catalini of Levittown, Pa., served as matron of honor. Valerie Gross of Sterling, Ill., sister of the groom, was a bridesmaid. London Gross, also of Sterling, Ill., and niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Matt Schumann of Richmond, Ky., served as his brother’s best man. Joe Sagrilla of Lakewood, Ohio, brother of the bride, was a groomsman.
A reception followed at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott.
The bride is a graduate of Edison High School who earned her bachelor’s of science degree in speech pathology at the University of Akron. She is a pediatric speech language pathologist at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.
The groom is a graduate of Model Lab High School in Richmond, Ky. He earned his bachelor’s of arts degree in chemistry at Miami of Ohio and his master’s degree in petroleum management at the University of Kansas. He is an officer in the U.S. Navy serving on board the USS Anzio.
The couple reside in Norfolk.
