GREENVILLE, N.C. – St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Greenville was the setting for the April 11 wedding that united Dawn Pearce and Jimmy Jones Jr. in marriage. The 2 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by the Rev. Jim Buchholz.
She was escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her uncles, Robert Crispino and Randy Diskin, along with her mother, Patti Pearce of Hartsville, S.C.
The bride wore a sheath mermaid satin ivory gown, featuring a smooth satin bodice and fitted slim skirt with sweep train. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers and peach roses tied with peach and ivory ribbon.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Jones of Havelock, N.C.
Sheryl Gilbert of New Bern, N.C., sister of the groom, served as the matron of honor.
Brian Pearce of Charlotte, N.C., brother of the bride, served as the best man.
Callie Pearce, niece of the bride, and Megan Gilbert, niece of the groom, both served as flower girls.
Nate Pearce, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
After a reception at the Greenville Hilton, the newlyweds took a Hawaiian cruise.
The bride is a graduate of Wintersville High School and West Liberty State College and is employed at Vidant Medical Center.
The groom is a graduate of East Carolina University and is employed at Vidant Wellness Center.
They reside in Greenville.
