LOGAN, Ohio – Nadia Auch wed Ravi Gandh on June 28, 2014, during a ceremony among the trees at Ash Cave in Hocking Hills State Park. The bride “hiked” down the aisle with her father, Ronald Auch, to the waterfall where the union was officiated by Leslie Stansbery, retired Presbyterian minister and peace activist.
Her parents, Ronald and Carole Auch of Steubenville, were the ceremony’s attendants, and the bride’s nieces, Eva and Calla Groman, were the flower girls.
A reception was held at Deepwood Restaurant in Columbus.
The bride is from Steubenville and is a graduate of Edison Local High School; Ohio State University, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree; and University College London, where she completed a master of science degree in international public policy. She is the founding assistant director of the University of San Diego’s Center for Peace and Commerce and its $75,000 Social Innovation Challenge.
The groom is from Belgaum, India, where his parents, Shivputra and Mahananda Gandh, reside. He is a graduate of St Xavier’s High School and the Kolhapur Institute of Technology’s College of Engineering and holds a bachelor’s degree in production engineering. He works for Valero as an SAP specialist.
The couple reside in San Antonio, Texas.
