Kappas — Applegarth
WHEELING – Jennifer Anne Kappas and Brian Lee Applegarth were united in marriage during a 2:30 p.m. June 27 ceremony at the Elm Grove United Methodist Church where the Rev. Bryan Carpenter officiated.
Parents of the bride are Mark and Paula Kappas of Wheeling.
Parents of the groom are Richard and Louanne Applegarth of Richmond.
Maggi Cupp served as maid of honor. Taylor Cain served as best man.
Other attendants were Kayla Stock; Emily Ramsey; Kim Long; Amanda Gill; Katie Ward, cousin of the bride; Nate Spears; Richard Duffy Applegarth, brother of the groom; Eric Long; Brian Potkrajac; Michael Snyder, brother of the bride; Jessa Howard, cousin of the bride; Harper Howard, cousin of the bride; Preston Ward, cousin of the bride; and Doug Brunker, brother-in-law of the groom.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2010 graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College. She is employed by Growing Generations as a financial specialist.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Edison High School. He is a member of the Carpenter’s Local 186 of Steubenville. He is employed as a journeyman carpenter with Cattrell Co. of Toronto.
After a Jamaica honeymoon, the couple will reside in Richmond.
