Rhodes — Beagle
AMSTERDAM – Melissa Faye Rhodes and William Dean Beagle Jr., both of Amsterdam, were united in marriage Saturday during a 1 p.m. ceremony at Amsterdam Church of God where Minister Steve Anderson officiated.
A reception followed at the East Springfield Volunteer Fire Station.
The bride is the daughter of Ron and Judy Rhodes Sr. of Jewett. The groom is the son of Carolyn Beagle of Steubenville and the late William Beagle Sr.
The bride, who wore a mermaid style gown with ruching, was escorted to the altar by her father and Dylan Rhodes, her son.
Kim Peoples Hill of Alliance, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Pat Simpson of Steubenville, sister of the bride; Liz Beagle of Steubenville, sister of the groom; and Chelsy Byron of East Springfield, daughter of the groom.
Jimmy Stewart of Wolf Run served as best man. Groomsmen were Randy Byron of East Springfield, son-in-law of the groom; Tanner Evans of Bergholz, stepson of the groom; and Dylan Rhodes of Amsterdam, son of the bride.
Flower girls were Ilah Halee of Waynesburg, Ohio, great-neice of the bride, and Lydia Byron of East Springfield, granddaughter of the groom.
Asthyn Rhodes of Cadiz, great-nephew of the bride, served as ringbearer.
The bride is a graduate of Edison South High School and is a clerk at Amsterdam Country Corner Gas Station.
The groom is a graduate of Springfield High School and works at E.L. Lewis.
The couple are making their home in Amsterdam.
