D’Aurora — Wydra

PITTSBURGH – Shana Marie D’Aurora and Christopher Andrew Wydra were united in marriage June 27 during a double-ring ceremony at the Duquesne University Chapel in Pittsburgh. The Rev. Walter Jagela officiated the ceremony and was assisted by the Rev. Joseph Compomizzi.

Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony D’Aurora, wore a diamond white gown with a sheer off-the-shoulder neckline, with long sleeves and scalloped eyelash fringe accents and fingertip length veil. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white and blush pink roses accented by the lace.

Amber D’Aurora, sister-in-law of the bride, was the matron of honor, and Bryan D’Aurora, brother of the bride, was the best man. They are from Steubenville. Emily Wydra of Pittsburgh, daughter of the groom, was the bridesmaid. A reception at the Round Room at Hyeholde Restaurant in Moon Township, Pa., followed the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of Steubenville High School and graduated from Robert Morris University with a doctor of science degree in information systems and communications.

She is employed with Steubenville City Schools.

The groom is a graduate of Erie McDowell High School in Erie, Pa. He also graduated from Robert Morris University with a doctor of science degree in information systems and communication and is employed with California University of Pennsylvania in California, Pa. The couple reside in Hampton, Pa.
