Venci — Seminara

PITTSBURGH – Trinity Cathedral in Pittsburgh was the setting for the Dec. 31, 2014, marriage of Brittany Leigh Venci, daughter of Anthony and Deborah Venci of Steubenville, and Jacob Ian Seminara, son of Steve and Annette Seminara of Wintersville. The Rev. Benjamin J. Wright officiated and was assisted by the Rev. Jean DeVaty.

The ceremony was followed by a reception at the LeMont Restaurant.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless ball gown with silk radzmir crossover bodice accented by a crystal studded band at waist, full tulle chapel length train and cathedral length crystal illusion veil. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangea, white mini calla lilies, ivory roses, white Asiatic lilies and gold metallic seeded eucalyptus.

Jillian Venci, of Indianapolis, Ind., sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Christina Cunningham of Columbus, Dr. Aya Arafa of Philadelphia and Carmen Collins of Charlotte, N.C.

Christopher Ferroni of Steubenville served as best man.

Groomsmen were Jordan Seminara of Wintersville, brother of the groom; Anthony Venci Jr. of Akron, brother of the bride; and Kyle Collins of Charlotte.

Addison Wenthur, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl, and her brother, Chance Wenthur, served as the ring bearer.

The couple honeymooned in St. Georges, Grenada.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Steubenville High School, a 2008 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University and a 2013 graduate of the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University. She is chief resident, internal medicine at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of SHS, a 2006 graduate of the NASCAR Technical Institute and a 2006 graduate of 5 Off 5 On Performance Instruction and Training Program. He is employed by Joe Gibbs Racing in Huntsville, N.C.

The couple reside in Mount Holly, N.C.
