Venci — Fuhs
INDIANAPOLIS – St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Ind., was the setting for the Nov. 28 wedding of Jillian Nicole Venci, daughter of Anthony and Deborah Venci of Steubenville, and Phillip Andrew Fuhs, son of Frederick and Rose Fuhs of Fort Branch, Ind.
The 2:30 p.m. Mass was officiated by the Rev. Dennis O’Keefe. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore an ivory tulle trumpet gown with all-over encrusted bodice and geometric beaded detail continuing through the hip, deep V-neckline with cap sleeve, open back with crystal belt detail and a cathedral length veil with horsehair trim.
She carried a cascading crescent bouquet of mixed greenery, including seeded eucalyptus and Israeli ruscus, burgundy bouvardia, pink astilbe, light blush roses, and accented with photos of her grandparents.
Brittany Seminara of Charlotte, N.C., sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Paul Fuhs of Charlotte, N.C., brother of the groom, served as best man.
Members of the bridal party included Anthony Venci Jr. of Akron, brother of the bride; Amy Fuhs of Dallas, cousin of the groom; Brian Fuhs of Fort Branch, Ind., cousin of the groom; Addison Wenthur of Circleville, Ohio, second cousin of the bride; Matthew McDaniel of Fort Branch, Ind., second cousin of the groom; Sarah Justice of Houston; Katherine Carlough and Carlie Venuto of Pittsford, N.Y.; and Timothy Gascho of McCordsville, Ind.
The couple honeymooned in San Ignacio and Ambergris Caye, Belize.
The bride is a regulatory policy and strategy consultant at Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis. She is a 2006 graduate of Baldwin Wallace University and earned both juris doctor and doctor of pharmacy degrees from the State University of New York – University at Buffalo – in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
The groom is a corporate project engineer at Vertellus Specialties in Indianapolis. He is a mechanical engineering graduate of Purdue University and a master of business administration graduate of the University of Indianapolis School of Business.
The couple reside in Zionsville, Ind.
