Pennies for Patients

Harding Middle School participated in the Pennies for Patients program this year to promote student understanding of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the world’s largest nonprofit health organization dedicated to finding cures for people who have blood cancers. The money students raise helps fund research for therapy that saves the lives of these patients. The Pennies for Patients program recognized HMS as a “Rookie of the Year” school for raising the most money of all the first-time school participants in Central Ohio. Shown are students in Miranda Treglia’s winning homeroom including, from left, first row: Caleb Conrad, Aidan Baker, Elliott Brown, Jude Dettorre and Anthony Pearce.
