Steubenville

Arrested: Sara Moore, 24, no fixed address, bench warrant for criminal trespass, Thursday.

Arrested: Bernard Brown, 52, 265 Wheatley St., Empire, adult parole violation, resisting arrest and petty theft, Thursday.

Crowd: Police said crowds that gathered outside the morgue and Market Square Apartments dispersed without incident, Thursday.

Cited: Walik L. Shabazz, 20, 1537 Brighton Blvd., Pittsburgh, speeding, a marked lane violation and no operator’s license, Thursday. Police reported clocking the vehicle moving in excess of the speed limit and said the driver ignored their flashing lights and siren when they tried to pull him over.

Struck: The driver of a car southbound on S. Fourth Street told police he clipped a car parked in the street, Thursday.

Harrassed: A woman told police her former landlord was following her and making threatening gestures, Thursday. The same man also allegedly pulled a knife on the woman’s boyfriend when he confronted him, police reported. The victims said the incident stemmed from a civil case involving electrical service.

Trash: Someone illegally dumped several bags of trash and a child’s mattress in a business dumpster in the 100 block of N. Fifth Street, Thursday. Police were able to locate identifying information and have forwarded the complaint to the prosecutor for review.

Wandering: Police said a female walking the streets barefoot and disoriented appeared to ambulance personnel to be under the influence of a narcotic and was taken to the hospital for evaluation, Thursday.

Arrested: Chavelle McGee, 38, 371 Summit Ave., drug trafficking, Friday.

Jefferson County sheriff

Arrested: Elizabeth Miller, 56, 427 Lawson Ave., Steubenville, probation violation, Thursday.

Arrested: Christopher Price, 44, 324 Patton Ave., Wintersville, failure to appear, Thursday.

Theft: A woman tried to steal a specialized mountain bike from am RV park in Empire, Thursday. The victim told deputies he saw the woman riding the bike and realized it was his.
