HONORED: The 2019 Clinical Excellence Award from the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solve Research Institute has been awarded to Megan L. Hendershot-Adelman.
The award is presented to medical providers in recognition of outstanding professionalism and clinical expertise.
Hendershot-Adelman was nominated by her colleagues and awarded the honor due to dedication, leadership and excellence in patient care.
She is a physician assistant who graduated from Chatham College in Pittsburgh in 2004 and has worked at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for the last 15 years.
Since 2012, she has been the lead advanced practice provider in the Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Department, treating patients with head and neck malignancies.
Hendershot-Adelman has authored and published case reports in the Journal of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants.
Hendershot-Adelman is the daughter of Jennifer and Fred Hendershot of Steubenville and a 1998 graduate of Edison High School. She is married to Derek S. Adelman, and they reside in Hilliard. with their two sons, Benjamin and Lane.
OMEGA SURVEY ONLINE: The Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association has begun its long-range transportation planning process and is seeking public input to ensure the plan accurately reflects the region’s transportation needs, policies, strategies and projects during the next 20 years.
In order to gather public input from throughout OMEGA’s 10-county region, the survey is available online at omegadistrict.org/survey and takes approximately five to seven minutes to complete. Paper copies of the survey are also available by request.
