Steubenville

Arrested: Victoria White, 40, 200 Woodward Ave., Mingo Junction, criminal trespass, petty theft and obstruction of official business, Sunday. Police said White allegedly left a Mall Drive store, where she’d previously been banned, without paying for a wristwatch. The watch was recovered at the Jefferson County Correctional Center after the body scanner located an object hidden in her crotch.

Theft: Police are looking for a white male driving a red sedan who was spotted on surveillance picking up a cash bag containing $100 that had been dropped by an adult who was setting up outside Rural King for a Boy Scout fundraiser Sunday. The suspect, who was wearing a yellow reflective sweatshirt, was seen on video picking the bag up and sticking it in his pocket, then entering the store. Police allegedly spotted the same man on the store surveillance system walking out the rear of the store minutes later pushing a shopping cart containing two heated jackets he hadn’t paid for.

Angry: A former tenant brandishing a knife demanded his landlord return his security deposit, Sunday.

Arrested: Christopher J. Gilmore, 19, 731 Oxford Blvd., Steubenville, domestic violence, Sunday. Gilmore allegedly smashed a flat screen TV belonging to a family member.

Arrested: James T. Gill, 56, 467 Union Ave., Steubenville, bench warrant out of Jefferson County Court, Sunday.

Arrested: Elizabeth Marie Ely, 35, 2623 Cherry Ave., Steubenville, failure to appear, Friday.

Arrested: Wesley Paul Cross, 38, 4820 Fowlers Road, Wellsburg, assault, disorderly conduct and failure to appear warrant out of Belmont County, Friday.

Arrested: Donald Allen Hayes-Mizell, 50, 1715 county Road 74, Mingo Junction, failure to appear, Friday.

Arrested: Amy Jo Haines, 27, and Paul Eugene Meyers, 44, both of 301 N. Seventh St., Steubenville, domestic violence, Friday.

Arrested: Isaac Miletic, 39, 131 Prospect Ave., Wintersville, warrant for failure to appear, Saturday.

Arrested: Gene Smith, 52, no fixed address, failure to appear out of Belmont County, Saturday.

Cited: Samantha R. Ayers, 45, 329 Maxwell Ave., Steubenville, driving under suspension and a stop sign violation, Sunday.

Jefferson County sheriff

Arrested: Scott Michael White, 54, 519 S. Main St., Ansterdam, failure to appear warrant out of Carroll County Juvenile Court from 2014, Friday.

Annoying: A resident living on Smithfield Street in Dillonvale, told deputies her neighbor sounded an air horn every time a member of her family came outside or in, Saturday. Police said the case will be reviewed for menacing or the complaint can opt to see a protection order.

Offensive: A county Road 10 resident told deputies her neighbor played loud music with vulgar lyrics while children were present on her property. The woman also said the neighbor was deliberately revving his engine, terrifying her horses.

Noise complaint: Residents of Della Drive, Bloomingdale, told deputies a man was “yelling and screaming” outside their homes, Sunday.

Threatened: A Toronto resident told deputies a woman known to him sent him an alarming message after he told her she needed to remove her belongings from his storage shed, Sunday.

Report: A resident living along county Road, 17, Wells Township, told deputies her daughter’s ex-boyfriend had turned up on her doorstep, acting erratically and belligerent.

Arrested: Christopher Yanda, 25, 6 Morningside Drive, Apt. 21, Wintersville, criminal trespass and failure to appear, Sunday.

Amsterdam

Arrested: Zachary Keister, 27, 3609 County Road 75, Bergholz, possession of hypodermics, driving under suspension and possession of marijuana, Saturday.
