Arrested: Cynthia A. Daniels, 38, no fixed address, possession of drugs and probation violation, Friday.

Arrested: Anthony Pathis, 31, 1302 Belleview Blvd., petit theft and possession of drugs, Friday.

Violence: A woman in the 600 block of McDowell Avenue told police her boyfriend struck her in the face with his fist, grabbed her by the ankles, swung her around, then tried to dig his fingers into her eye socket, Friday. The woman told police he let her go when she bit his hand, but before fleeing he knocked her 6-year-old daughter to the ground.
