Steubenville

Fraud: Police were notified that three individuals attempted to use counterfeit $20 bills at the Speedway at 2619 Sunset Blvd., Wednesday. The manager told police that two individuals tried to use the bills to load a Netspend card, while a third attempted to make a purchase, according to the report.

Hit-skip: Police were called after a vehicle drove away from a collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Washington and North Fourth streets, Wednesday.

Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on state Route 7 northbound, Wednesday. According to the report, the collision occurred after one of the vehicles involved changed lanes. Jeffrey L. Buxton, 28, 369 Third St., was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Crash: Police responded to a vehicle striking a utility pole, Wednesday. The driver advised he was not injured, according to the report. Joshua W. Miles, 29, 215 Norris St. was cited for failure to control.

Crash: A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle on state Route 7 southbound, Thursday. According to the report, the driver and passenger of the vehicle said a man crossed the center barrier and could not be avoided. Police said the man was taken to the hospital.

Cited: Alisha D. Bonar, 29, 35 Bayberry Court, New Cumberland, driving under suspension; Heather L. Cordle, 22, 83 township Road 1337, Toronto, marked lanes violation.

Arrested: Derry R. Shreve, 40, 223 Point Breeze Drive, Bethany, driving under the influence and expired registration, Tuesday.

Arrested: Hunter J. Jackson, 21, Towson, Md., breaking and entering, Monday.

Arrested: Danielle E. Smarrella, 42, 160 Teresa Drive, Steubenville, driving under the influence, Sunday.

Arrested: Autumn S. Holland, 30, 124 Woodcrest Road, Follansbee, warrant for battery, Feb. 7.
