Jefferson County sheriff

Car stolen: A woman came to the sheriff’s office to report a family member had taken her car without permission, Tuesday. She advised the sheriff’s office that the individual was also driving under a suspended license and that withdraws had been made from her bank account, according to the report.

Arrested: Shaun Bowers, 36, 509 Ohio St., Steubenville, failure to appear, Tuesday.

Arrested: Joseph Smith, 37, 787 Northview Road, Wellsburg, failure to appear, Tuesday.

Arrested: Amanda White, 37, 412 Ohio St., Steubenville, failure to appear, Tuesday.


Arrested: Austin R. Egnew, 25, domestic violence, Tuesday. Police responded to a call of a domestic disturbance. According to the police, a woman was noted to have a bite mark.

Arrested: April L. Livingston, 43, 4180 Roadayle Drive, Roseville, possession of drug paraphernalia, Tuesday.

Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on the 2300 block of Sunset Boulevard, Tuesday. According to the report, one vehicle struck another in the rear. Both vehicles were reported to have minor damage and no injuries were reported. Mary D. Richardson, 211 Wilshire Blvd., was cited for following too close.

Crash: Police responded to a crash on the 400 block of South Sixth Street, Tuesday. According to the report, one of the vehicles involved had disabling damage to the front and one of the drivers involved refused medical attention. Matthew Edwards, 32, 27 Gullett Lane, Weirton, was cited for failure to control.

Cited: Bryant C. Owens, 62, 733 Rosswell Ave., driving under suspension, no operators license, display of plates; Kasey Bazan, 1370 Roosevelt Ave., Martins Ferry, red light violation, expired registration; Alexandria D. West, 44, 137 McDowell Ave., no operator’s license; Michael F. Loggie Jr., 48, 280 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, red light violation; Tasha M. Robinson, 39, 219 N. Eighth St., expired registration.
