Arrested: Gary R. Dobbins, 22, 27 Commerce Street Extension, Wellsburg, domestic battery, July 7.

Arrested: Dawn D. Meyers, 47, 46 Ottawa Road, Wellsburg, driving while suspended and leaving the scene of an accident with damage, Thursday.

Arrested: Asia M. Smith, 26, Apartment E8, 508 Blue Ridge Manor, Wellsburg, driving under the influence and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, Friday.

Arrested: Charles R. Ball, 35, 3719 state Route 151, Mingo Junction, public intoxication and disorderly conduct, Saturday.

Arrested: Peter P. DeStefano III, 52, 556 Rose St., Follansbee, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, Saturday.

Arrested: Richard S. Gaudio, 59, 1067 Jefferson St., Follansbee, possession of marijuana, Saturday.

Arrested: Mary E. Johns, 51, Apartment A6, 106 Blue Ridge Manor, Wellsburg, warrant for failing to require a child to attend school, obstructing an officer and resisting arrest, Monday.

Steubenville police

Dumpster driving: A Scenic Drive resident told police she struck a dumpster that was in the street in the 200 block of Cunningham Lane, Monday. Police said the passenger side mirror was damaged. The dumpster had been moved before they arrived.

Blame game: A customer service representative doing follow up calls with customers said an “older white male” told him it was his fault his electric bill had gone up and punched him in the face, Monday.

Violent: A caller reported a man beating on a female inside a silver jeep, Monday. Police weren’t able to locate the vehicle. Several hours later a caller reported a similar incident involving a silver Toyota RAV-4, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Bagged: Someone driving a black Dodge Ram dumped wood and other household items over a hillside along Kendall Avenue, Monday.

Trading blows: A woman said her boyfriend choked her in the 800 block of North Sixth Street, Monday. The boyfriend said the woman punched him in the mouth.

Bargain basement: A Claire Avenue resident told police his son sold his Playstation 4 to another kid for $20, Monday. The man said when he called the other parent, she denied it was in her house.

Intoxicated: Police said a woman who smelled strongly of alcohol was unable to provide information doctors needed to treat her toddler, Monday. When they arrived on scene, police said the woman asked them to fill a cup for the child, but when they opened it the cup was moldy and it smelled like sour milk. The child’s mother said the cup was clean and contained juice from three days before. A family member was called to take them.
