Overdosed: An Amsterdam woman was administered Narcan after overdosing at a party, Friday. A man who was at the party with her told deputies they’d smoked crack and he believed she also had snorted Xanax as well. As she was losing consciousness, he said the woman told them she’d also used heroin.
Alleged threats: Two Bergholz men each claim their lives were threatened during a neighborhood dispute, Thursday. The disagreement, which has been ongoing, was sparked when one of the men accused the other of speeding by on a motorcycle. He said the cyclist pulled out a gun and threatened him. The motorcyclist, who has a valid concealed-carry permit, said he pulled his gun only because the other man was approaching him and he felt threatened, and insisted he never pointed it at the man on foot. The motorcyclist also claims a member of the other man’s family told him, “If people want to start pulling out guns, I’m not afraid to kill somebody.”
Report: Someone texted a picture of a man with his pants down and exposing himself to a 13-year-old Amsterdam youth, Thursday. Deputies said the perpetrator used an app that masks the cell phone number of the sender.
Damaged: Wayne Township residents reported their residence had been egged, Thursday. The owner said it’s happened repeatedly since October.
Destruction: A farmer reported someone ran over part of a cornfield near Mount Zion Road in Richmond.
Arrested: Danicka Gegas,32, 307 Miller Ave., Weirton, probation violation, Thursday.
Arrested: Casey Davis, 23,185 Saline St., Irondale, two counts of child endangerment, Thursday.
Dispute: A woman told police her live-in boyfriend became enraged when she asked him to move out, choking her and pulling her hair, Thursday. The man also knocked her coffee table over, tossed things in her bedroom and dumped a toy basket in her child’s room while the child hid under a bed, she said. Police noted every door upstairs had been “smashed and destroyed.” The man told police they’d had a fight and he punched a door.
