Brooke County sheriff

Arrested: Aryana D. Talbott, 20, 1501 Grand Ave., Wellsburg, driving under the influence, Sunday.

Jefferson County sheriff

Arrested: Nikita Bever, 28, 234 Sunshine Park Road, domestic violence, Monday.

Problem: Deputies found a woman near the intersection of U.S. Route 22 East and Lovers Lane having a medical issue after her daughter kicked her out of her car, Aug. 26. The woman, who suffers from COPD and asthma, said she’d forgotten her inhaler at home, angering her daughter who had to go back and get it.

Dispute: A Cadiz Road resident upset because one of his neighbors reported a domestic disturbance in his home confronted a neighbor he believed made the call, Monday. The neighbor said he “came over and began screaming at her” after deputies had left the scene. The man and his wife insisted there was no fighting in their home, deputies noted.

Questions: A Steubenville woman told deputies her son’s 28-year-old girlfriend punched her in the face over baby wipes, Monday. Deputies said the younger woman was angry when they caught up to her, disputing the account As they were arresting her she told deputies, “I’m going to kill that (woman),” at which point deputies told her she needed to stop talking. The older woman, whose lip was cut and her face swollen, said her son was welcome to return but she didn’t want the younger woman near her.

Animal dispute: A Richmond woman who turned a dog she’d found over to the dog warden said the owner threatened her after she told him he needed to take better care of the animal, Monday. The woman said when she found the dog it had no collar, was flea infested and had nails so long they curled under its paws. The man denied behaving aggressively, telling deputies the woman had called him names.

Steubenville police

Hit-skip: A vehicle parked in a handicapped space outside Wal-Mart was struck by another vehicle that left the scene, Monday. Witnesses told police they thought the hit-and-run vehicle was a white van.

Arrested: William Robinson, 54, 1516 Maryland Ave., failure to appear, Monday.

Arrested: Otis Allen, 43, no fixed address, failure to appear, Monday.

Arrested: Kathryn Dillon, 35, 1204 township Road 267, Dillonvale, possession of drugs, petit theft and a probation violation, Monday. Dillon allegedly had a pill crusher with three Konapins, a butane torch and scissors with burned tips in her possession when she was taken into custody.

Arrested: Charles Klug, 32, 1006 Pearl St., Martins Ferry, possession of drug paraphernalia, Tuesday. Police allegedly found a glass crack pipe, a white residue on one of two scales they found in the car and “multiple empty individual baggies” in his vehicle.

Cited: Landon Marshall, 29, 441 Fourth St., Bergholz, driving under suspension.

Arrested: Alex C. Evans, 205 Beach Road, Weirton, domestic battery, child neglect, strangulation, Aug. 23

Arrested: Samual M. Lewis, 419 Marland Heights Road, Weirton, underage consumption, public intoxication, Aug. 29

Arrested: Tyler Cox, 3340 West St., Weirton, battery on officer-second offense, obstructing, resisting, outstanding warrants, Aug. 30

Arrested: Naudia M. Harmon, 18, 16161 State St., assault, Tuesday.
