Certification earned

Culinary arts students at the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School earned a five-year ServSafe certification which enables them to work in restaurant management. Instructor Glen Zalenski said eight seniors completed a 16-hour course and subsequent exam that is required by the health department to work in the restaurant industry.
