Virtual Burger Bash a success
STEUBENVILLE — The format was very different than in the past, but the 2020 Ambassador Burger Bash held on Aug. 5 at Franciscan Square was a success, officials with the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce reported.
The annual event, which is put organized by members of the chamber’s Ambassdors Club, raises money to support the Anita Jackson Community Scholarship.
Nicole Adamski of the Inn and Suites at Franciscan Square, president of the club and event chair, and Michael Vok of the Ohio Valley Down Syndrome Support Group, club vice president, held a safe and small gathering while still being able to offer door prizes and gift baskets that attendees have come to expect. Pierce Media produced a broadcast on Facebook Live.
