NAMED TO POST: Aaron Call, a native of Mingo Junction, has been named director of engineering for Ohio by OHM Advisers, an architectural, engineering and planning firm.
Call, the son of Thomas and Marlene Call and a 2000 graduate of Steubenville High School, will lead a team of more than 70 staff members including offices in Columbus, Akron and Cleveland

Since joining OHM in 2012, Call has grown a Central Ohio engineering team to more than 25 staff members and was instrumental in the opening of a full-service office in downtown Columbus. Appointed in 2016 as shareholder in the firm’s ownership group, Call has been recognized for his passion for engineering, and commitment to helping communities find unique ways to turn routine roadway projects into impactful community advancement opportunities. The 2005 graduate of Ohio State University is past president of the Central Ohio Chapter of the American Society of Highway Engineers, and is the chapter’s representative to the ASHE Great Lakes Region.
