Taste of Quinn set for Saturday

Every other year, Quinn Memorial A.M.E. Church, which is located at 515 North St., Steubenville, sponsors its Taste of Quinn dinner, which will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church and feature a variety of food made by church members. The menu includes turkey and dressing, ham, chicken, roast, macaroni and cheese, yams, greens, cornbread, corn pudding, black-eyed peas, green beans, potato salad, peach cobbler and Texas sheetcake. Tickets are $15 each, available in advance by contacting Soundra Palmer, (740) 282-5815; Marge Monaco, (740) 219-3735; or Eloise Curenton, (304) 479-7540. Tickets also will be available at the door. Looking forward to the event are committee members, from left, Pearl Brown, Co-Chair Marge Monaco, Chair Soundra Palmer, Ilana Chester and Gloria Howard. Lisa Mason also is a committee member. The church’s pastor is the Rev. Reloy Gainey.
