Library announces variety

of programs and activities

STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced the following programs and activities at its various locations:

Adena Branch, (740) 546-3782

Children: Story Time, for children ages 5-10, will be held April 18 at 5:30 p.m. Registration is required.

Adults: Book club will meet for discussion on Monday at 5:30 p.m. Call to join.

Brilliant Branch, (740) 598-4028

Children: Story Time is scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. Registration is required.

Dillonvale-Mount Pleasant Branch, (740) 769-2090

Adults: Book club will meet for discussion at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Call to join.

Schiappa Branch, (740) 264-6166

Adults: Find A Grave genealogy class will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Seating is limited, so call to register. Find A Grave is an eResource available on the library’s website. Learn how to use it for your family research.

Children: Babygarten, for parents with children birth to 2, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on April 18. This is a lapsit program that shares stories, songs and rhymes to help babies with language development.

Tiltonsville Branch, (740) 859-5163

Children: Story Time, for children ages 5-10, will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday. Registration is required.

Adults: “Coffee, Doughnuts and a Movie” will be on April 18 at 10 a.m. Call to find out what’s playing.

Toronto Branch, (740) 537-1262

Children: An egg hunt will be held at the library on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Please bring a bag. The egg hunt is for children ages 10 and younger.

Town and Country to meet

SMITHFIELD — Town and Country 4-H Club will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday at the county fairgrounds.

At the March 10 meeting, the Iron Chef theme was discussed and unfinished business included the popcorn sale fundraiser.

Johanna George and Dayne Carter led pledges.
