Auxiliary to meet July 8

WEIRTON — The Tri-State Marine Corps Club Auxiliary met June 10 with President Shirley Brecht presiding.

Chaplain Mary Ann Smith gave the prayer, and Marcy Spano read names on the prayer list.

Vice President Darlene Kemp conducted the roll call, followed by the pledge to the flag.

Sunshine Chair Mary Ann Elliott reported on cards sent.

Getting new shirts for the auxiliary is a subject that will be discussed next month.

Brecht nominated Smith as chairperson for the election of officers to be held in November. The committee is to consist of three members.

The committee will present a list of officers at the November meeting.

A birthday was acknowledged. Smith won the 50-50 drawing, which she returned to the treasury.

The next meeting will be held July 8.
