Harrison County Junior Fair sewing contestants received awards at the Junior Fair Night program on Monday. Sara Cunningham, left, Country Friends 4-H, made a Wild West horse skirt with gold braid trim and a brown top, worn with a western denim jacket, cowboy hat and boots to complete her outfit from the Sew Fun category. Jillian Foreman, second from left, of Country Jewels 4-H, had a hanging quilt featuring jewel colors — a turquoise, gold and dark teal fabric with a peacock print. She will show her work at the Ohio State Fair competition in the Sew Fun category. Lindsey Heavilin, second from right, Green Valley 4-H, made a flowing pastel top with shorts for her Sew Fun category. Kristen Morgan, right, Shamrock 4-H, had a filmy top in navy, maroon and rose for her Terrific Tops category.
