Cadiz Women’s Golf League

The Cadiz Women’s Golf League played “Scoring on Par Fours” on June 12.

Hostesses Millie Romshak and Paula Hope announced the winners. A flight winner was Stacy Amos. B flight winner was Bonnie Beetham, and C flight was Kim Ochsaline. The putt pot was won by Marilyn Kenney and Tracy Amos with 30 putts each.

A chip-in was achieved by Janis Cook on hole No. 14. Birdies were made by Janis Cook on hole No.14, Denise Augustine on hole No. 1, Tracy Amos on hole Nos. 7 and 14. Ann Milleson won the 50/50 drawing.

After lunch, Co-chairman Donne Griffin led the monthly meeting to discuss plans for “Guest Day,” which will be held July 17.

Red Oaks Ladies League

The Red Oaks Ladies League played the back nine on June 3 with the play of the day being “Par Fours.”

The top three prizes for the play of the day went to Lori DeFallo, Laura Froehlich and Yuko Atwell. Neysa McCart had the long drive on hole No. 13, and Ruth Lamantia was closest to the pin on hole No. 17. Minnie Walters won the low putts prize. The chip-in prize went to Lori DeFallo, who had a chip-in birdie on hole No. 18. Another birdie was recorded by Neysa McCart on hole No. 16.

All women are invited to play each Monday at 5 p.m. with the league traveling to Highland Springs in Wellsburg on the fourth Monday of each month. Those playing should call the golf course the day of play to sign up before 3:30 p.m.

Spring Hills Ladies Golf League

Spring Hills Ladies Golf League played the second week of the Handicap Tournament. The play for the evening was low net.

Flight winners were: A flight, Debbie Phillippi; B flight, Yuko Atwell; and C flight, Tammy Cox.

Longest drive winners were: A flight, Teri Barkley; B flight, Yuko Atwell; and C flight, Tammy Cox.

Closest to the pin was Debbie Phillippi, and the chip-in winner was Pat Carey.

50/50. Winner was Eleanor Kindsvatter won the 50-50 drawing, and low putts went to Yuko Atwell with 16.

President Debbie Phillippi reminded everyone that the invitational, which is being called “Under The Big Top,” will be held Aug. 1, beginning at 9 a.m.

New members arewelcome to play each week with tee-off time being 5 p.m. Those interested should call the Pro Shop at Spring Hills Golf Course, East Springfield, to sign in each week.

Town and Country

Town and Country Golf participants played their monthly scramble on June 6. The winning team was Signa Findlay, Patty Saccoccia, Rose Kaczmarek and Toni Jean Dondzilla. The second-place team was made up of Wanda Retzer, Edie Higgins, Jeanne Dowden and Sondra Hyde.

Other winners were:

Long drive hole No. 6 — A flight, Laura Froehlich; B flight, Pat Zorne; and C flight, Dondzila.
