The winners of the Mingo Idol competition held as part of Mingo Community Days festivities were, from left, the five-person Ambassadors Mime Team of Steubenville High School and Harding Middle School, non-vocal talent category; Amelia Collopy, Edison Junior High School, seventh grade, category of 5-to-12-year-old vocalist; and Audrey Post, 2019 Steubenville High School graduate, category of 13-to-18-year-old vocalist. The event was sponsored by the Ohio Valley Youth Network, and prizes totaling $500 were awarded by Softite Credit Union of Mingo Junction. Bobbyjon Bauman, president of the Ohio Valley Youth Network, emceed the event, and the judges were Bobby Pizzoferrato Of U.S. Kids; Jodi Lynn Fitzgerald, Mingo councilwoman; and Barb Roman, marketing manager, Softite Credit Union.
