Representatives of the Order of A.H.E.P.A. Hancock Chapter No. 103 and the Daughters of Penelope Pallas Athena Chapter No. 276 are shown after filling 140 Blessing Bags for the children of the Weirton Christian Center and the Dunbar Recreation Center. The goal of this project is to provide an assortment of fresh fruit, vegetables, a small box of cereal, a pudding cup, apple sauce, Ramen noodles, instant oatmeal, milk, Nestle chocolate drink, canned food and a variety of snacks. The Blessing Bags were to be given to the children after attending the 11th-annual Thanksgiving dinner sponsored by the Order of A.H.E.P.A. for the centers, which was held on Nov. 26 at the All Saints Church Memorial Hall. Shown are, front row, from left, Elaine Flinn, Joyce Drane, Heidi Psaros, Mary Loucas, Chairman Steve Psaros, Max Flinn and Pearl Tranto; and back row, George Payne, Diane Payne, Nick Proakis, Harry Brown and Nick Tranto.
