Christmas music program
Monday for woman’s club
STEUBENVILLE — Kimberly Hahn will lead a program of Christmas music to entertain members of the OFWC Woman’s Club of Steubenville at the holiday meeting at noon Monday at the YWCA of Steubenville.
Carlotta Jordan, president, has reminded members to bring hats, gloves and scarves to be donated to Urban Mission Ministries for holiday gifts.
VFW Auxiliary to have food,
beverage sale during parade
WEIRTON — The auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars will be selling hot dogs, coffee and hot chocolate for $1 each during Weirton’s Christmas parade on Saturday morning.
The auxiliary also will have free cookies for children to decorate.
A spokesperson noted Santa would be stopping by after the parade “if you would like to get your wish list in early.”
Country Friends announces
entertainment for weekend
COLLIERS — Country Friends Foundation will host the Buffington Brothers on Friday and Light Touch on Saturday at the Memorial Hall located at 67 Police Lodge Road, Colliers.
The doors open at 6 p.m., the dance starts at 7 p.m., and the hall closes at 10 p.m. for both events. There is a $5 cover charge per person on dance nights.
Open mic is Monday. The doors open at 4 p.m., the covered-dish meal is served at 5 p.m., and open mic begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge on Mondays, but donations are appreciated.

Resource CRN to meet Tuesday
WEIRTON — The Brooke-Hancock Family Resource Network’s Community Relations Network will meet at noon Tuesday at the FRN’s office at 1300 Potomac Ave.
The group is comprised of representatives of various agencies and volunteers who discuss issues affecting area families.

WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Library is offering a free class for adults covering various computer devices from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Episodes of PBS ‘Molly of
Denali’ series to be screened
WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Public Library, in partnership with West Virginia Public Broadcasting, will show episodes of the PBS series “Molly of Denali” at 11 a.m. on Dec. 6.
The series involves the adventures of 10-year-old Alaska native Molly Mabray. There will be related activities for children. Call (304) 737-1551 for a seat.

at Follansbee branch library
FOLLANSBEE –The Follansbee branch of the Brooke County Library will be offering computer help with resumes and online job applications from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 7.

WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Library will hold a craft class involving a candy cane wreath at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Participants are asked to bring a hot glue gun and glue sticks. Other materials will be provided.
