An old-fashioned country
Christmas at Sycamore Center
STEUBENVILLE — An old-fashioned country Christmas is in store for those who attend the free concert planned for Monday at the Sycamore Youth Center, located at 301 N. Fourth St., Steubenville.
The center will be hosting the event that begins at 6:30 p.m. and is sponsored by the Ohio Valley Youth Network.
Some of the top talented artists in the valley, including many Valley’s Got Talent finalists, will be showcased, according to Bobbyjon Bauman, OVYN president.
“For the old-fashioned country Christmas, the center will be decked out in Christmas decor from the 1950s and 1960s to perfection by our master interior designer Paula Stevens,” Bauman noted.
“We also will have a spread of Christmas cookies, drinks — hot cocoa and wassail; treats; and desserts that will be out of this world,” Bauman added.
The lineup of performers includes Gemma Nelson and Michael Manocchia, Dani Carroll, Olivia Huval, Therese Nelson, Gracie Phillips, Troy Hackathorn, Audrey Post, the Steubenville Community Youth Choir, Ambassador Mime Team, Ben Acors, Anthony Pearce, Leila Cable, Rebekah Gilbo, Kaly Shafer, Jennifer Harris, Teresa Kropka and Christina Westlake.
