Library offering tax forms

and variety of programs

STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has tax forms and instructions available at library branches.

They include: 1040 and 1040-SR instructions; 1040 and 1040-SR forms and booklet; Ohio 2019 instructions; and 2019 Ohio IT 1040 forms.

The library’s website offers links to tax forms for federal, state, city and Ohio municipality.

Programs and activities coming up at the library’s various locations include:

Adults: Book Club will meet for discussion at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 26. Call to join.

Children: Celebrate Read Across America Day by making a Dr. Seuss craft on March 2. Stop in the children’s room anytime.

Children: A “Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss” program will be held on March 3 at 6 p.m.

Play and Learn the Alphabet, for caregivers with children ages 2-6, will play with letter-learning toys on Feb. 25 at 11 a.m.

Children: Make an edible craft to celebrate Dr. Seuss on March 2 at 4 p.m. Registration is required. This class is for children ages 4-8. Food containing peanuts or peanut oil may be used in this program.

Help babies with language development and other early literacy skills by attending Babygarten, for caregiver with children birth to 24 months, on Feb. 27 at 10:30 a.m.

Play and Learn will be held Feb. 25 at 10:30 a.m.

Movie night for the family is scheduled for Feb. 28 at 4 and 6:30 p.m. Choose one show time and call to register.

WEIRTON — The Weirton Steel Management Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at Giovanni’s Family Restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue in Weirton.

St. Mark Lutheran Church

to hold soup sale Saturday

STEUBENVILLE — St. Mark Lutheran Church, located at 133 Lovers Lane, Steubenville, will hold a soup sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

A variety of soups will be for sale at $6 a quart. The proceeds will benefit a church member who lost her home and all of her belongings in a fire and is currently living in a motel, according to a church spokesperson.

‘Brunch’ to be theme of Brooke

Library recipe club meeting

WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Library has formed a recipe club for people who enjoy sharing recipes.

Each month the group selects a different theme and shares the results of their efforts.

February’s theme is brunch, and the group will meet at noon Tuesday.

Country Friends announces

entertainment for Saturday

COLLIERS — Country Friends Foundation will host the Country Friends band as the entertainment on Saturday at the Memorial Hall located at 67 Police Lodge Road, Colliers.

The doors open at 6 p.m., the dance starts at 7 p.m., and the hall closes at 10 p.m. There is a $5 cover charge per person.

Open mic is Monday. The doors open at 4 p.m., the covered-dish meal is served at 5 p.m., and open mic begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge on Mondays, but donations are appreciated.

Ash Wednesday fish fry

at YWCA of Steubenville

STEUBENVILLE — The YWCA of Steubenville, located at 320 N. Fourth St., will host an Ash Wednesday fish fry from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 26.

Patrons can dine in or get carryout orders. A fish fry meal is $10.
