Library closed but offers free access to digital collection

STEUBENVILLE — Looking for something to do during this stay at home?

The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has closed its doors to the public, but offers free access to its digital collection of e-books, audiobooks, movies, television, magazines, and databases, according to Jennifer Cesta, the library system’s public relations coordinator.

Visit the library’s website at www.steubenvillelibrary.org. “If you need a library card to access the digital collection, call the main library at (740) 282-9782 on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,” Cesta noted in a new release.

Retired teachers won’t meet

STEUBENVILLE — The April 14 meeting of the Jefferson County Retired Teachers has been canceled due to the corona virus. It was to have been held at Richmond United Methodist Church.
