Brooke County Library to
show ‘Dolittle’ on Friday
WELLSBURG — The Brooke County Library will be showing the film PG-13 rated film, “Dolittle,” starring Robert Downey Jr., at noon Friday.

Library continues Online
STEUBENVILLE — Online programming is scheduled as part of the “Imagine Your Story” summer reading challenge at the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County.
Now patrons can learn Wizard Tricks.
Branch Manager Pam Kourim will share science experiments families can do at home.
Connect to this program and join the “Imagine Your Story” summer reading challenge by visiting the website, steubenvillelibrary.org, explains Jennifer Cesta, public relations coordinator for the library system.
Click on “more information” on the Imagine Your Story picture located on the front page of the library’s website. Next, click on the “children’s” button for the virtual programs.
There is still time to join as the “Imagine Your Story” summer reading challenge ends on Saturday.
Children, teens, and adults can join by downloading the reading logs from the library’s website or calling their PLSJ branch and picking up a packet.
Weirton Farmers Market is happening every Monday
WEIRTON — The Weirton Farmers Market is continuing to be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. every Monday thorugh October in the Goodwill parking lot on Penco Road.
Area residents will be able to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables that are grown within 50 miles of the market and picked fresh that morning, according to a news release.
Also available are farm-fresh eggs, homemade jams and jellies and handmade therapeutic jewelry.
Vendors will once again be accepting Senior Citizens Nutrition Coupons, available by appointment from the Hancock County Senior Wellness Center on Gas Valley Road.
