Steubenville Art Association Vice President Gina T. Judy of Richmond has a 14-piece show on display in the lobby of Historic Fort Steuben’s Visitor Center, located at 120 S. Third St., Steubenville. The theme is “Scapes” and features watermedia “figure-scapes” and landscapes. Judy is pictured next to “Ohio Farmland” and “Ballet Series I: Blue-Eyed Ballerina Backstage, In Spanish-Dress” now in the West Virginia National Aqueous. Judy is a retired Indian Creek Schools art educator of 30 years who since her retirement has exhibited in 16 states and in 29 shows that have required a national or international screening. Already an Alaska Watercolor Society Signature member, she was awarded this year watercolor Signature memberships in the Ohio, Kentucky and Montana Watercolor Societies. Signature memberships are based upon jurying into a number of national shows and, in the case of Ohio, additional vote by its 14-member board. She placed first in the 2019 Pittsburgh Watercolor Society Show “Waterworks” and was one of the six Awards of Excellence in the 2020 Illinois Watercolor Society Member Online Show. In March she was one of the featured invited artists in “Presence” at the Stifel Fine Art Center, Wheeling, and recently had two pieces juried in to the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society 75th Anniversary Show at Fallingwater’s Speyer Gallery in Mill Run, Pa., which will run from Oct.1-Dec. 31. She also is in the North Hills Art Center (Pittsburgh) Member show. A juried member and board member of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists amd Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, she is currently in national exhibitions in Montana, Illinois, Rhode Island and Maryland and at numerous online exhibitions.
