fundraiser on Oct. 25
PIEDMONT — A chicken barbecue dinner drive-through fundraiser will be held Oct. 25 at the Piedmont Firehouse, 33030 W. Main St.
It begins at 11 a.m. and continues until it’s sold out.
A dinner is $10 and includes half a chicken, two sides and a roll. Proceeds benefit the Harrison Coal and Reclamation Historical Park. The chicken is provided and donated by Case Farms.

of book club meeting dates
STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced the following schedule of book clubs at its various locations, including:

Adults: The book club will meet for discussion on Oct. 28 at 10:30 a.m. Seating is limited. Registration is required by calling the library.

Adults: Book club will meet for discussion on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. Registration is required by calling the library.

Adults: This month only, the Schiappa Branch’s book club will meet in person at the main library on Oct. 27, beginning at 6 p.m. This month’s book selection is “The Story of Arthur Truluv” by Elizabeth Berg. Pick up a copy of the book at the Schiappa Branch or download an e-book from the library’s website, steubenvillelibrary.org. Seating is limited. Registration is required by calling the Schiappa Branch Library.
