The Fort Steuben Daughters of the American Revolution Centennial Bench Committee, Regent Vickie Joseph, Denese White, Karen Watson Blanc and Janet Rymer, met May 1 at Historic Fort Steuben, Steubenville, with Executive Director Paul Zuros and Mayor Jerry Barilla to finalize plans for the dedication of the centennial commemorative bench. DAR members and friends are encouraged to attend this Saturday’s meeting at noon at Historic Fort Steuben for the chapter’s dedication of the bench to the fort. Barilla announced that the dedication will be held inside the Visitor Center with the DAR lunch and business meeting to follow.
