Weirton Elks donate to area groups

Weirton Elks Lodge No. 1801 recently made donations totaling $7,500 to area groups. That included to $1,000 to the Weirton Salvation Army; $4,500 to the Mary H. Weir Public Library; $1,000 to the Weirton animal shelter; and $1,000 to the Weirton Police Department. The donations were made possible by donations to the Elks National Foundation, which awarded the grant for the Weirton Elks making their goal to the foundation. From left are Capt.
