Cadiz Women’s Golf League

The Cadiz Women’s Golf League began its 2022 weekly play on May 11.

Sandy Terek and Patty Stewart were hostesses, and the “Play of the Day” was score minus putts.

The winners for each flight were: A flight, Sherry Sapon; B flight, Joanne Hardman; and C flight, Sandy Terek.

Brenda Hartley had a birdie, and Paula Hope, Janis Cook and Sherry Sapon had chip-ins. Kathy Newburn had low putts with 29 while five players tied with 30 for second place.

For May 18, the Play of the Day was to be throw out your highest score on the front nine and on the back nine. Hostesses were to be Carol Lepic and Kathy Smith.

Spring Hills Ladies Golf League

Spring Hills Ladies League played a weekly game of low gross on May 12.

Winners were: A flight, Dru Fleishour; B flight, Vickie Grant; and C flight, Linda Caputo,

Long Drive: A flight, Yuko Atwell; B flight, Vickie Grant; and C flight, Linda Caputo.

Closest to the pin: A flight, Dru Fleishour; B flight, Neysa McCart; and C flight, Pat Carey.

Low Putts: Neysa McCart, Dru Fleishour and Vickie Grant.

Ruth Lamantia had a chip-in and won the 50/50 drawing.

Town and Country

Town and Country Golf played “Return to Par 2 Worst Holes” on May 12.

Winners were: A flight, Laura Froehlich; B flight, Dora Elizaga; and C flight, Shirley Guida. Low putts was new member Michele Purviance.

Other winners were:

Long drive hole No. 2: A flight, Froehlich; B flight, Elizaga; and C flight, Guida.

Long drive hole No. 5: A flight, Froehlich; B flight, Patty Saccoccia; and C flight, Guida.

Closest to the pin hole No. 8: A flight, Kathy Antinone; B flight, Elizaga; and C flight, Guida.
