Members of the Oak Glen Alumni Association thanked everyone who donated to the “Light Up the Bear Night,” fundraiser in which $1,000 was raised for an organization or academic department at Oak Glen High School. This year’s donation was presented to the media production program and will be used to help purchase equipment and resources for students to use for in-house broadcasting, multimedia programming and communications. In years prior, donations have gone to the Oak Glen band, the Little Theater, the art, math and science departments, the prom committee, the physical education department and the weight room program. Those taking part in the presentation included, from left, alumni members Ed Fields and Don Foltz, Oak Glen media productions instructor and sponsor Trey Smith, alumni member Diane Wells and Oak Glen Principal Frank Crain.
