Shaffer Plaza celebrated its third-annual Fall Festival on Oct. 29. The event featured a petting zoo and pumpkins to mark the autumn season. Participating in the event were residents and students from the School of Bright Promise, including resident Judy Yates, who took part in the activity of pumpkin painting. Additional activities included receiving fall-themed temporary tattoos, playing in the leaves and a special visit from Zoo-2-Go out of Cortland, Ohio. Animals on site were alpacas, rabbits, goats, sheep, horses and Zebu, a type of miniature cow.
