Members of the Board of Education in the Steubenville City School District were the guests of honor at a special breakfast held at East Garfield Elementary School Jan. 30. The event concluded January’s recognition of School Board Appreciation Month, which thanked officials for their commitment to students and academic excellence. Students had an opportunity to interact with leaders, including, from left, back, East Garfield Principal Tricia Saccoccia, board Vice President Matt Davis, President Ruth Anne Bruzzese, Superintendent Melinda Young, Treasurer Bobby Lamantia and board member Tom Timmons. Board members also recognized for their contributions during the event were Greg Agresta and William Hendricks.
