ATHENS — Local students attending Ohio University in Athens, have been recognized for their achievements during the Fall 2024 semester. Officials at the university announced the names of area students who were named to the Provost’s, President’s and Dean’s lists.

The Provost’s List recognizes qualifying students who possess a 3.5 or greater grade-point average and between 6 to 11.99 credit hours attempted. Students included, Aubrie Bane, Toronto; Missy Chieffalo, Adena; Kora Cox, Carrollton; Tracy Diar, Rayland; Nico Kovalski, Adena and Nadia Tweedy, Cadiz.

The President’s List recognizes students who earn a 4.0 grade-point average for the semester, with a minimum of 12 credit hours attempted. Students included, Abbey Berze, Adena; Emmie Halaja, Dillonvale; Hester Lambright, Dillonvale; Mia McIntosh, Hopedale; Lauren Miller, Adena; Kylie Mitchell, Dillonvale; Brittany Mozingo, Hopedale; Isabella Phillips, Steubenville; Phillip Rawson, Toronto; Sian Tetley, Yorkville and Frankie Vostatek, Mingo Junction.

The Dean’s List recognizes undergraduate students who complete a particular semester with a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.999, with a minimum of 12 credit hours attempted. Those making the list included, Holden Anthony, Adena; Cabot Arbaugh, Cadiz; Kenzie Ash, Toronto; Maddy Bender, Cadiz; Cameron Best, Rayland; Megan Buksa, Rayland; Josh Dulesky, Dillonvale; Kenzie Hill, Mount Pleasant; Isabella Hoffman, Rayland; Pamela Johnson, East Springfield; Carly Long, Bloomingdale; Isabella Loy, Steubenville; Austin Marchetta, Hopedale; Chloe Meeker, Rayland; Brianna Merkel, Rayland; Kaitlynn Merkel, Rayland; Eliasia Morales, Carrollton; Ariel Ott, Cadiz; Tera Parrish, Bloomingdale; Red Pietro, Steubenville; Brandi Radvansky, Toronto; Morgan Richardson, Cadiz; Sophia Riley, Steubenville; Isiah Skinner, Steubenville; Dominic Weiss Webster, Hopedale and Joseph Zaccirey, Rayland.
