AHEPA donates to egg hunt

The Order of AHEPA Hancock Chapter No.103 made a $150 donation to the Weirton Board of Parks and Recreation. The donation will be used to help defray the cost of the upcoming Easter Egg Hunt, scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bowman Field. Children are asked to register at the Millsop Community Center. Attendees are asked to come to the gymnasium, where they will be called by age group out to the ballfield, officials stated. The event is free of charge and open to everyone up to age 10. In case of inclement weather, the egg hunt will be moved indoors. On hand for the contribution were, from left, front, President James Antoniou, Program Director Chris Krishak, Mayor Dean Harris and parks and recreation executive director Cody Shingle; and back, Nick Proakis, Harry Brown, George Payne and Gary Mastromichalis.
