Original production set

WEIRTON — Morning Star Baptist Church, located at 3124 Weir Ave. in Weirton, will hold a special Good Friday service beginning at noon on Friday.

“He is Risen,” an original production of “The Resurrection Story in Narration and Song,” will be performed, officials announced.

The performance was written and will be directed by Linda Ross Brown.

Guest artists will include Bill Holt, saxophonist, and Kriss Pino, tenor, who will be joined by the MSBC Ensemble.

The Rev. James E. Brown will officiate, according to organizers.

A freewill offering will be collected during the service.
