Creek to hold spring craft show

MINGO JUNCTION — Indian Creek Middle School will hold its Spring Craft and Vendor Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the school, located at 2379 Wilson Ave. in Mingo Junction.

Organizer Jenna Patton said there will be plenty of places to peruse during the event.

“We currently have more than 40 vendors signed up, along with two food trucks, a chance auction and a 50-50 drawing,” Patton said.

“The vendors are mostly crafters, but we will also have jewelry, tumblers, T-shirts, baked goods, crocheted items, 3-D-printed items, candles, home décor and more,” she added.

Patton, who is involved with the school’s newly established Parent Teacher Organization, has led four vendor shows for Indian Creek schools, noting this is a way to help the school and have something for the community to do.

Patton stated her vendors love participating in shows, asking for a spring show to be held. She said this will be an opportunity for residents to see the middle school.

“We hope to see some familiar and new faces at the event,” she said. “There will be plenty of vendors, and with Easter and Mother’s Day around the corner, you never know what you will find. Bring the family out for a fun day at ICMS.”

Proceeds from the event will benefit the school’s PTO, help purchase food and hygiene items for the school’s pantries, cover costs for field trips and purchase goods for the school’s Tomahawk ticket store.

Room is still available for a total of 10 indoor and outdoor vendors to set up, officials said.

For information, contact Patton at (740) 317-8366 or through e-mail at VendorsInTheVille@hotmail.com.
